There are 100 repricer and inventory management software products online. How ours different?
Great question. We are the only software on the market today that you download and install on your computer. Dropship Beast does not run on a server. This is very important and I will explain why.
Over the years, eBay, Amazon and other online retailers became wary of bad dropshipping practices and especially of online arbitrage sellers. The reasons are numerous, from bad customer service to abusing the Amazon return policy and refusal to pay VAT taxes.
Regardless of why eBay and Amazon decided to clamp down on internet retail arbitrage, responsible arbitragers with good reputations got caught in the fire.
Over the last couple of years it became increasingly clear that in order to continue developing your dropshipping business, you need strategies to remain under the radar of eBay and Amazon’s automatic flagging algorithms.
The easiest and fastest way dropshippers get flagged by eBay is when the inventory management software they use connects to eBay’s servers through their Application Programming Interface, or as it is more commonly known, their API. You can read more about it here – eBay Developer API. All repricing software on the market currently (except us) uses this ebay-provided service to reprice and manage your inventory.
And how do they get the original product’s prices? There are 2 main methods. Scraping and…Amazon’s API 🙂 Amazon also has an API service for programmers to get prices and inventory availability for every ASIN number provided.
